A plain-language overview of the data Crav uses to run the marketplace, support trust, and keep service workflows moving.

What we collect

Crav stores the account, profile, service, booking, gig, and payment-related information needed to operate the marketplace. This may include names, email addresses, phone numbers, work areas, service preferences, and booking history.

For providers, this can also include profile details, availability, category selections, and marketplace activity needed to support matching and service delivery.

How we use it

We use your information to match customers with providers, process bookings, enable messaging, support moderation, and improve the product experience across customer, provider, and admin workflows.

We also use activity and support information to reduce fraud, improve trust, and keep the marketplace safer for everyone using it.

Payments and third parties

Card and checkout data are handled by external payment providers such as Stripe. Crav does not store full card details inside the web portal.

Third-party providers may process certain information according to their own security and compliance rules when payments or related verification flows are involved.

Safety and support

We may review activity, reports, disputes, moderation signals, and support interactions to reduce fraud, improve trust, and protect marketplace participants.

Where needed, we may retain operational records related to safety, account protection, disputes, or platform enforcement.

Your control over account details

You can update core profile information through your account settings, including contact details and parts of your public-facing profile.

If you need help correcting sensitive information or closing your account, you can do so through the product or by contacting support through Crav.
